“Be Still My Soul” has always been fascinating to me. Maybe that’s because it’s so easy to say and so hard to do. My instinct is to try to handle life myself. It takes faith in God to be still. It takes trust. It takes focus.
When I heard that this song was on the schedule for us to record, I was excited to say the least! The blend of harmonies is beautifully unique. The piano accompaniment is perfect!
These words get richer every time I hear them. One line says, “In every change, He faithful will remain”. The fact that “this same Jesus” from Acts chapter 1 remains faithful to me today absolutely thrills my heart!
If you enjoy “Be Still My Soul” half as much as I have, you’ll probably want to leave it on repeat!
